Max International Philippines recently hosted two (2) well-attended celebrations to mark its 9th anniversary in the Philippines, gathering top leaders, associates and guests from all over the country and the world. Following the global theme Momentum, Max International showcased a healthy and active lifestyle through watersports.
The first celebration kicked off last August 11 in Manila, at the Metro Tent, in Pasig City, where the company headquarters are located. Despite the low-pressure area which loomed over the whole of Luzon that day, resulting to heavy rains and floods, it did not stop the associates and their guests from as far north as Cagayan and as far as south as Bicol to be at the highly anticipated occasion. Special guests for the Manila event included Max President Jim Stevralia, Crown Diamonds Chris and Tammy Gingras, motivational speaker and one of the first three women who climbed Mount Everest in 2007, Janet Belarmino, up and coming dance group TMDX and celebrity band Side A.
Exactly a week after, on August 18, the leaders, associates, and guests convened at the Calla Hall of the JCentre Convention Center, Cebu City for the second leg of the celebration.
Max International invited Philippine Basketball Association’s Assistant Coach for Alaska Aces, Tony dela Cruz to be the motivational speaker for the event. Guest performers were Cebu’s homegrown bossa nova sensation, Zen and her band.
Present at both events were the corporate heads of Max International, Max International President Jim Stevralia and Max International VP for Asia Joey Sarmiento.
Stevralia thanked the associates and highlighted how “every month has been a growth month” at Max International. Stevralia reaffirmed commitment to the Philippine market which is Max International’s first market outside of the USA.
Joey Sarmiento for his part echoed the same commitment to the Philippine market, assuring everyone that “Max is here to stay and the opening of the Cebu office is just the first of the expansions planned for the Philippines.”
Sarmiento also highlighted that collectively, the associates have received more than Php 1 Billion in terms of total commissions and have sold 1 Million units of products in 9 years, “showing that thousands of Filipinos have benefitted from the products and business opportunity of Max International, over the span of 9 years.”
Max Opens Cebu Office
Still in Cebu, Max International hosted the formal opening of its newly minted Cebu office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, blessing, Max Opportunity Meeting and a street party last August 17.
It was a full day for more than 250 associates who witnessed the formal ribbon cutting lead by Max International President Jim Stevralia and Max International VP for Asia, Joey Sarmiento. The activities started with an office blessing officiated by Msgr. Fred Kriekenbeek, followed by a Max Opportunity Meeting led by Diamonds Erick and Cristhel Lovitos, Diamonds Benny and Marlyn Collamat, Diamonds Precy and Rene Macasero and Diamond Joel Paglinawan, and capped by a fun street party in the evening.
