Dear Max Associates: 

We are now dealing with a worldwide health crisis.  The number of people testing positive for the novel coronavirus and suffering from the illness it causes, COVID-19, is rising steadily throughout most of the countries in which Max operates.  Our respective governments are now taking action to limit the rate at which the virus is spreading.  However, it is expected that the number of cases will climb before the number falls. Fortunately, there are things that you can do to help slow the virus from spreading.  Here is a link to the Centers for Disease Control, the CDC, that contains valuable information.

We have received a number of questions regarding Max’s operations during the ongoing situation.  Below is a brief description of what Max is doing to continue to provide service to you.

CUSTOMER CARE
Our Customer Care representatives will be available to receive your calls and assist with your orders.  Due to higher demand, we may experience increased call volume that may result in extended waiting periods. Please be patient as our Customer Care Representatives are doing their best to assist you. And, to the extent possible, please place your orders through our online ordering system or your virtual office. Thank you for your understanding.

EVENTS
Since it has been advised that large gatherings should be avoided for at least the next 8 weeks in countries that have reported a significant number of cases of coronavirus, we have postponed events in those countries.  Please contact your local Max office for details on event cancellations. 

In place of those events, in these affected countries, Max General Managers are working with field leaders to organize webinars and online presentations.  During this time, we can discuss the importance of supporting a strong immune system and the advantages of having a home-based business. 
However, due to many factors, including government rules and regulations, what we cannot do is make any claims about the virus with respect to our products.  Max’s products are not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any disease.

STAY INFORMED, BE SAFE,  AND ACT RESPONSIBLY 
In light of the fact that there are many excellent group-conferencing options available, we encourage everyone Not to have large group meetings.  Please follow the recommendations of your local government officials.  We need to be careful about spreading this virus as it is particularly dangerous to certain groups of people. Stay informed and be safe.

DON’T PANIC
When challenges occur, unnecessary panic often causes as much harm, if not more, as the cause of the situation.  We will support each other. We will get through this. Expect that we will have to make some adjustments to our daily routines and business practices, but, through consistent communication and supporting one another, we will be fine.
